Godzilla Melee Remastered Sightings: How Gallery Tokens Work
Sightings unlock gallery art and movies through hidden Gallery Tokens. Start in Adventure, check clues, and avoid unverified all-location lists.
Sightings are gallery rewards, separate from the Rumors and Research projects used for monsters and battlegrounds. In the 2026 release, finding hidden Gallery Coins or Tokens is one way to reveal gallery art and movies. Nintendo Wire's hands-on review describes this distinction and reports finding the coins in Adventure Mode. The Steam achievement “Hidden Treasure” independently confirms that at least one hidden Gallery Token can be located.
A reliable first search
- Open the game's Sightings or Gallery screen and read the clue for the item you want. Record the exact monster, arena and mode wording shown in your version.
- Start with Adventure Mode, because the hands-on review explicitly reports Gallery Coins there. Check the stage and structures during the fight, then finish and revisit the Gallery to see whether the entry changed.
- If trying Custom Battle, treat it as an experiment rather than a guaranteed route. Note the playable monster, opponent, stage variant and game version so you can repeat a successful find.
- For the Steam achievement, confirm that you actually collected a hidden token, not merely completed a Research project. The achievement description is about finding a token.
A firsthand player report describes tokens appearing in large structures and gives possible monster-and-arena combinations. Another player in that discussion independently reports a Monster Island coin. These observations are useful search leads, not a verified complete map: the reporters themselves could not prove every spawn condition, and a later patch may change them.
What this guide does not claim
There is not yet a independently verified list of every Sighting, exact building and trigger across modes and platforms. Avoid treating a single player's route as universal. For monster and battleground progression, use the unlock guide. For the hidden-token achievement, see the trophy guide.
